Hi! I’m Jo, a pink haired mum from Oxford.

Like most people who live in Oxford though, I wasn’t born here!

I have lived in several countries, I speak 4 languages, and for most of my life “on the road” was the best place to be.

I have made a home wherever I was, whenever I needed, again and again.

What is a home? It’s a place + the people + a purpose.

All of this, and my inclination towards art and creativity, have inspired Kindred Handmade: because what’s the magic of handmade if not a unique item finding its perfectly unique person?

Kindred are the souls of those who love each other, and kindred to your soul are the gifts that someone who loves you will find for you.
